It would be helpful in the development of future Canadian tennis players to have access to a tennis court in town. We don’t need more of the same multi court basketball style courts. There are plenty of those in town with zero tennis and pickle ball courts.

This is awesome!
- Garbage bins at the entrances would be nice (not too many because of raccoons and up keep).
- A small fitness park would be great for all community members, I’ve seen these in a lot of newer parks being built and they seem to be popular addition.
- More lighting along the walkway and basketball court so the adults could play later in the evening.

Forgot to mention more benches near the park for parents and grandparents to sit and watch the kids would be great.

Hello,
So very excited this is finally happening! We’ve been waiting over a decade! I would LOVE to see a splash pad. There are children at most homes in the this neighbourhood that would really put it to good use and need a cool place to play. There is only one in town and it’s small for Hamilton splash pad standards. It really gets so busy on the hot days.
Fantastic that you’re using Fibar flooring and not wood chips! Much more accessible for all.
Love that you are adding a hill slide and shaded area. Would suggest more swings as I know this park is going to BUSY with all the littles!
Would also like to see some hills left for tobagganing as this is a hit all winter at this spot.
Sport court looks great, could we add tennis too?

If possible, please include garbage bins for dog waste and additional park lights. Picnic tables and a second sun shelter near the multi-use court, additional benches near the play equipment, and a soccer field in the open lawn area would also be great. Lastly, it would be wonderful to include a splash pad for the little ones, and a small section dedicated to a community garden. Thank you so much!

Many of the kids in the area play soccer - is a small field with goals possible.

I love the services and how accessible they will be for all children no matter the disability but I was wondering what are some accessible park features other than the surfaces are there any swings or anything like that that would be appropriate for children with autism and children who are in wheelchairs?

The overall plan looks good, several good park amenities and features. Another tennis/pickleball court in Waterdown would be useful. Looks functional and pleasant. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback.

I would like to see some walking/ biking trails, garbage cans including dog garbage can. Sprinkles or splash pads for cool off during summer season . Playground over soft pad instead of wood chips. Multi purpose court includes tennis basketball and soccer gears. Beautiful maple trees to provide shade and breeze .

We could use a soccer field and tennis court on this side of waterdown. Please help our kids stay active and give a space for adults to also keep active using tennis courts and soccer fields.
