Remembering when I would take the bus downtown

When my family moved to the Hamilton Mountain. We lived near Upper Sherman and Mohawk Road. The 24 Upper Sherman only went as far as Upper Sherman and Berko. I knew when the bus would be coming as it would turn left onto Jeanette Street and right onto Bellingham Drive. We lived on Austin Drive which would be southwest of Bellingham. Our backyard faced west and we would hear the bus coming. Back then we didn't have Bus Check so that was how we knew the bus was coming. It was amazing to live in an area where transit was great. Fast forward 54 years later and the bus now travels up and down Upper Sherman. Can't wait to see when the 24 Upper Sherman will go into LimeRidge Mall. Congratulations HSR on your 150th Birthday.
