I lived in Calgary for several years. At one point we noticed that there seemed to be a new art installation on an overpass over hwy 2, a large blue circle, integrated into a light post. The location always seemed weird to me, from looking it up now there does seem to be a mixed use path next to the road, but it’s not a common place for people to be or hang out. It became something my partner and I would look for and laugh at as we drove by, but we never searched it out to go see closer to in person. Perhaps there was a reason why the artist wanted it there specifically, but I can think of many different places that people walk by a lot more consistently that would have been more interesting for interacting with art.
