Consultation has concluded

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requires transportation service providers to hold at least one public meeting each year. At the HSR, we take advantage of these yearly opportunities to learn from our customers about what is important to them, and to tell our customers how we are improving accessibility across the system, both on Accessible Transportation Services (ATS/ DARTS) and conventional HSR service.

During to the COVID-19 pandemic, our event was held virtually. This year’s meeting will include an in-person and virtual option. The meeting will take place on Thursday November 3, 2022 from 5 to 6 pm.

  • The in-person meeting will take place in the Hamilton Room of the Central Branch of Hamilton Public Library, 55 York Blvd.
  • The meeting will also be available for viewing on the City of Hamilton’s YouTube channel, youtube.com/insidecityofhamilton.
  • For attendees of the in-person meeting, small group discussions will take place after the meeting (6-7 PM) facilitated by City staff and members of the Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities. The small group discussions will not be recorded.
