    When will other parks be scheduled for playground replacement?

    The current survey only includes parks that are being replaced in 2021/2022. Playground replacement is subject to budget approval by council and is determined by a number of factors including:

    • Age of the structure in comparison to anticipated life span 
    • Results of staff inspections, including condition of the structure 
    • Opportunities to replace a structure at the same time other construction is taking place at the location
    • Available funding (capital and other funding sources)
