Part of what drove me to come to Hamilton was the growth I'd seen in its transit. The HSR is an interesting case -- it's intermingled with the other transit agencies in the GTA, including GO, and it's also got it's own LRT on the way (eventually). With the growth Hamilton is experiencing and the evolution it will see over the next decade, I saw it as a refreshing change from my relatively slow-to-move hometown of London. Now on the LRT corridor, I wait not only wait to see the valiant return of the Street Rails in Hamilton, but also hope to give my input into what the HSR and Metrolinx plan for the region.
