The City of Hamilton would like to know how residents feel about living in Hamilton and how the City is doing in providing services that matter to you.
The Our City Survey is a resident survey conducted via telephone interviews and online to help the City understand the:
perception of quality of life in the City of Hamilton
perception of quality of City services
perception of value for tax dollars
experience and satisfaction with contacting the City
preferred means of communicating and interacting with the City of Hamilton
suggestions for ways the City can improve
There are two ways you can take part in the Our City Survey
Telephone survey: We have partnered with Metroline Research Group to administer the telephone survey. Metroline Research Group will call a random sample of Hamilton residents in each ward to complete the survey over the phone. This includes cell phones and landlines. Residents who receive calls are encouraged to share their feedback.
Online survey: The survey is available online to all Hamilton residents. You can share your feedback starting November 1.
The survey is entirely voluntary and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your responses will be kept strictly confidential and results will only be reported in aggregate form that do not identify individuals.
The City of Hamilton collects information under authority of section 227 of the Municipal Act, 2001. Any personal information collected for the Our City Survey will be used for improvement of municipal service delivery.
