Parkside Hills is a proposed park located at 110 Nisbet Boulevard in Waterdown within Ward 15. It is bordered by Cole Street to the east, Nisbet Boulevard to the south, White Gates Drive to the west, and future housing to the north. The site is approximately 1.97 hectares. A large feature of the property is the Waterdown water tower that is located at the park’s south-east corner.
A new neighbourhood park is proposed to be developed at this site. As part of the planning process, the City will engage with local residents to shape the vision of this space. The project scope will include:
Playground equipment
Sun shelter
Multi-use court
3m wide asphalt walkways
Drinking fountain
Benches
Tree plantings
During the consultation period, residents will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the design concepts, multi-use court options and playground features. Construction is expected to start in the summer of 2025.
