Beulah Park - Play Your Way Playground Replacement

Consultation has concluded
Beulah Park is a lovely community feature, centrally located in the Kirkendall South neighbourhood. It is located at 59 Beulah Avenue, and is situated between South Street and Hillcrest Avenue. This park acts as a central hub to the neighbourhood, offering connections to nearby streets, with Green Alley conveniently located along the north side, connecting to Miles Court. Located in a well-established, mature neighbourhood at the foot of the escarpment, it features many aspects of a great City park. At just under an acre in size, it is home to a number of mature trees, offering a beautiful open space, park lighting, benches and picnic tables, pathway, drinking fountain (to be upgraded in 2021), and sizable playground.
The existing playground at this park was originally installed in the 1990’s and has now reached its end-of-life. As part of the City’s dedication to maintaining safe and functional play structures, this playground will be replaced in 2022, within the existing playground footprint.
The survey will be available to the public March 1 - 19 as an opportunity to gain insight into the features that the community would like to have included in the playground design. We encourage all members of the community, regardless of age, to participate and have their say in what the future Beulah Park playground will look like!
