Dofasco Property Park - Play Your Way Playground Replacement

Located at 274b Beach Road in Ward 3, Dofasco Property Park is a quaint park that offers recreational opportunities for local residents and visitors alike. The park is situated on a triangular shaped property, and is well-appointed with numerous mature trees, providing a space to rest in the shade on hot summer days. The playground currently features a stand-alone slide, see-saw, and swing set, which have reached their end-of-life and are scheduled for replacement in 2022. Part of this project funding will include a new drinking fountain with a bottle filler and dog bowl, to be installed in 2021.

In April of 2021, the City will offer an electronic survey to the public as an opportunity to gain insight into the features that the community would like to have included in the playground design. We encourage all members of the community, regardless of age, to participate and have their say in what the future Dofasco Property Park playground will look like!
