My lifeline for going to McMaster

When I went to McMaster University, I simply could not afford the price of a parking pass, even the student lot on the other side of Cootes Drive. So I purchased a semester pass and took the bus every weekday (Parkdale and B-Line). The buses may have been packed, but I knew I was in the safe hands of a competent driver and I would get to school and my classes on time. The wait times for the buses, and the transfers, was well within reason and I got there and back in one piece. Riding the HSR gave me peace of mind. It's why I continue to use it, albeit infrequently.

A couple of unique buses

Back when I was in high school, I would occasionally make the long journey from Pickering to Hamilton to photograph and ride the remaining General Motors articulated buses. These were unique buses built as part of an articulated bus demonstration program. There was only a small number of them built, and by this time, they were only running in Hamilton.
