The City of Hamilton’s Seniors Advisory Committee (SAC) is a key partner with Hamilton’s Age-Friendly Plan. SAC has developed a Communications Survey (approved by City Council on January 24, 2024) with the goal of learning the current methods used by older adults and seniors when looking for information, ie. social media, post mail, print news, etc., as well as the the type of information that they are looking for.
Results from the survey will help inform the City‘s Communications staff, other City staff working with and/or serving older adults and seniors, and community organizations who support older adults and seniors.
This project aligns with goal 3 (Information and Communication) of Hamilton’s Plan for an Age-Friendly Community, 2021-2026. More specifically, the objective: Increase and improve access to information for all older adults. The survey results will help to meet this objective.
Thank you for participating in this project. Public feedback from this project will help inform the City‘s Communications staff, other City staff working with and/or serving older adults and seniors, and community organizations who support older adults and seniors
