St. Mark’s Church Renaming

St. Mark’s Church, located at 115 Hunter Street West in Hamilton, has experienced an extensive transformation over the last 2 years to become a barrier free public space for arts, music and culture, and a gathering and rental space for the community.

This beautiful historic building has a large, open gathering space with a vaulted ceiling, colourful stained glass, rich woodwork, original plaster and original brick. The new addition provides modern amenities and barrier-free accessibility. The exterior gardens and park space are renewed for people to enjoy a bit of nature in the busy downtown.

St. Mark’s is located in the Durand neighbourhood and is close to transit, City Hall and the escarpment.
