Transparency, Accountability and Access Survey
To guide you in sharing your thoughts with us, please see some helpful definitions below:
- Interact: Having direct contact with a City of Hamilton service, employee, official or recreational facility
- Access: This means finding better ways for community members to share their thoughts and ideas with the city.
- Transparency: This involves ensuring that people can easily see and understand what the City is doing and understand why.
- Accountability: This includes making sure the City listens to and meets the needs of all community members and effectively communicates the outcomes of its work.
- Trust: Bringing forward clear and practical ways to strengthen the relationship between the City and its residents.
We're collecting information as part of this project
The City of Hamilton collects information under the authority of Section 227 of the Municipal Act, 2001. Any personal information collected for the Mayor’s Task Force on Transparency, Accountability and Access will be used to inform a final report that will include specific recommendations to City Council on how to improve access, transparency, and accountability to enhance trust in City decision-making.
