2026-2031 Vision Zero Action Plan: Public Opinion Survey
The City of Hamilton developed its first Vision Zero Action Plan (2019–2025) in alignment with the City's 2016–2025 Strategic Plan and is now working on a new 2026–2031 Vision Zero Action Plan. Vision Zero takes a data-driven approach to road safety, with the goal of reducing traffic-related serious injuries and fatalities toward the only acceptable goal: zero.
The purpose of this survey is to collect data and public input to help update the Vision Zero Action Plan and improve road safety strategies in the City of Hamilton.
- The survey will take about ten to fifteen minutes to complete.
- Participation is voluntary, and you can stop at any time.
- Your answers are anonymous and will be combined with others and summarized in a report.
- Please complete the survey only once.
Notice of Collection
The City of Hamilton collects information under authority of Section 227 of the Municipal Act, 2001. Any personal information collected for Vision Zero Hamilton Action Plan and will be used to collect input from stakeholders including City staff as well as citizens of Hamilton which would contribute to the development of the 2026-2031 Vision Zero Action Plan for the City of Hamilton. Vision Zero Action Plan is gathering information to accurately identify trends that can assist the Transportation division to define road safety challenges and opportunities throughout the City of Hamilton. By providing your email address, you are consenting to receiving emails from the City of Hamilton and/or their agents/contractors for purposes related to this program and/or survey. Information collected for this initiative may be stored on servers located in Canada and the United States and may be subject to Canadian and/or American laws.
