Green Acres Park playground is located at 880 Queenston Road in Ward 5. Amenities featured in this park include a baseball diamond, soccer field, walking paths, splash pad, open grass spaces, and playground.

The existing playground currently includes a swing set and benches which has provided the community with a place to enjoy the outdoors.

In Winter/Spring of 2025, the City is offering an online survey to the public as an opportunity to gain insight into the features that the community would like to have included in the replacement playground design.

We encourage the community members of all ages to participate and have their say in what the future Green Acres Park playground will look like!

    Community feedback will help to guide the design of the future play structure by including elements similar to the examples shown in this survey. Final equipment selection and installation may vary from what is shown in the images provided.

    The City of Hamilton collects information under authority of Section 227 of the Municipal Act, 2001.  Any personal information collected for the provided Engage Hamilton: Play Your Way survey will be used to assist in the design of the new park playground.
