Hamilton Amateur Athletic Association Park Renewal
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedinEmail this link
The Hamilton Amateur Athletic Association (HAAA) grounds is a seven-acre neighbourhood park located within the Kirkendall Neighborhood on the north side of Charlton Avenue West, just east of Locke St. It’s home to the Hamilton Tennis Club along its north end and abuts Ryerson Recreation Centre and Ryerson Middle School on its east side, with private residences backing on to the park’s westerly limits.
Throughout 2021 The City of Hamilton, Landscape Architectural Services staff developed a Renewal Plan for the HAAA Grounds with the help of the HAAA community. The Renewal Plan is a conceptual plan of the overall park that will be implemented in a multi-year phased approach between 2022 - 2025.
We want to hear from you! The development of the Renewal Plan was completed at the end of 2021 (Final Renewal Plan). We’re now looking to implement Phase 1 of the renewal plan and looking for your input / feedback on the phase 1 elements which are the playground, spray pad and the multi-use court.
